Just a quick update on the discussions from the Player / parent meeting held Sunday Sept 30th.
Thank you to all who were able to attend parent meeting. We appreciate your time and commitment to your sons’ hockey season!

1) Main form of communication - website & email. Please sign up for automatic notifications through the website
2) Cell phones are strictly forbidden in the dressing rooms by OMHA & Minor Hockey - if they need to be on hand they are off and away. Rich will have his available for emergencies only.
3) We are a TEAM within the arena walls - any outside “stuff” stays outside.
4) Dress code - clean and presentable - shirt with collar preferred, clean, neat pants. We are representing Mount Forest, and we are the oldest age level and should set an example.
5) Game changes - head shots - anything above the shoulders will be a penalty regardless of intent. Avoid at all cost - we cannot play the game from the box or bench
6) Equipment - check to be sure it is CSA approved - officials can eject from game otherwise
7) Arrival times - please be no later than 40 minutes prior to game time
8) Ways & Means - Angie Orr; Sports Reporter - Angela Schenk; 50 - 50 Co-ordinator - Marcia Capell
9) OMHA & Minor Hockey have a ZERO tolerance on alcohol & drugs on the bench or ice
10) Team Goal for Dec 1 is to be in the top portion of the league, out of 27 teams we want to be 15th or better
11) Practices - please make every effort to attend - there are certain drills that progress through the season. It is difficult to move forward when there are players that have not progressed through the drills with the team
12) Remember to hand in Health forms - Dale has extra copies if needed
13) Silver Stick fee of $45 due by October 10th please
12) Tournaments - would like to enter 3 - 4 including the Silver Stick
