Midget Girls C, U18, 2013-2014 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

What a fantasic year-end tournament! Our girls worked hard all day.  Although the first game was a loss, we came back battling.  Our second game was against Markdale and we came out flying.  The whole game we played as a team & won as a team. We then went into the bronze medal game & came out flying again.  After regulation it was a 1-1 tie.  Into two overtime periods & it was still 1-1 !!  Down to the shoot out & we came up just short. We are all very proud of the girls & are very excited to travel to Provincials. Great work Ladies ! ​

Our Ram Midget girls had an excellent team effort last night against West Grey.  Our Ram Ladies came out  hard & played very well together.  They looked great & Congratulations to Abby for the goal. Keep up the hard work Girls ! ​

The game last night was a great effort by all & resulted in a 0-0 tie against South Bruce.  Our RAM girls worked hard all game & put the pressure on in the other end numerous times.  A few more shots & the games will be ours.   Congrats to Emily for the shut-out.  GREAT WORK LADIES - we see another win on the horizon !!

THE MOUNT FOREST MIDGET C TEAM FACED THE MARKDALE STARS ON WED NIGHT IN THE REEVES CHALLENGE CUP. A GREAT TEAM EFFORT BACKED BY GREAT GOAL TENDING RESULTED IN A 2-0 VICTORY. A BIG REASON FOR THE WIN WAS A PENTALY FREE GAME. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

After a couple of practices the Midget C team is eager to get the season started. With the addition of a few new players and the return of the local girls the team should ice a full roster. The scheduling meeting is Oct 9 after which the season will soon be in full swing. Stay tuned for more news from the ice.
