The Streak is Over
Whenever 2 undefeated teams meet we know someone has to lose. Tonight it was our girls as Kincardine handed us a 3-0 loss. This is not the way we were hoping to start our busy weekend of hockey but the coaches focused on the positives and took the loss in stride.
Tonights game was the first of 5 (we hope) for the weekend. Hopefully tonights loss will make the girls work that much harder as we gear up for the rest of the weekend. After a good nights sleep, we will face the Normanby team tomorrow at 1:30 on home ice. Sunday will see us facing off against the Saugeen Shores Storm at 9am and a rematch against the Kincardine team at 12:15 in the Durham Huskies tournament. You can be sure our Atom girls will be looking for some revenge in that game!!
15 straight wins with only 2 goals allowed is an amazing streak!!! You make all of us very proud.
What do you say we reset the streak and aim for 15 more starting tomorrow???
