BANTAM GIRLS "BB", U15, 2012/2013 (Mt Forest Minor Hockey Association)

Well, we had our last practice last night. We are leaving for Provincials tomorrow in Ottawa. Pretty exciting! We are pretty proud of these girls. Just think, in the beginning we only had 9 skaters. The goal of this team was to make it to provincials at a "B" level. Well after hard work, lots of games, alot of practices we are going as a "BB" team. We have had alot help along the way.

Congrats Girls, you are a BB team. Lets keep up the strong work ethic, and continue on this journey in the BB loop. This is the first team in Mount Forest hockey history to have a team in BB. Hard work pays off! We appreciate the handling of this situation by this group of girls and to not continue to the appeal process. Its unfortunate the OWHA didn't listen to us. Your a great bunch of girls and we will continue "up" in this new path! Keep up the great work.

A busy two days, post turkey and cranberries and our girls bring home another Tournament Championship. Four games this past Thursday and Friday kept them busy. MVP's for the games go to PC, Monica, Brooke and Jess. Good work girls!

On behalf of the coaching staff, I would like to thank each and everyone from this team for supporting the Christmas Angel Program. It was nice to hear that it was the team's idea to collect money and buy presents for two children in need. It makes us proud that you are learning life skills and becoming great community leaders.
