The awards banquet and pot luck supper is on Friday May 1 at the community center. It would be nice if everyone could attend. If you think you would like to contribute your time and energy to the MFMH association the annual meeting is on Monday May 4 at the arena. Registration is also the night of the banquet.

The Rams closed out the season with a tournament in Waterloo at Rim park. The team went 1 win 1 tie and 2 losses. The accomplishments of the team are many. WEST GREY TOURNAMENT B CHAMPIONS, THE LONDON PEEWEE TOURNAMENT GRAND CHAMPIONS. The team went undefeated in the WOAA playoffs with 8 straight wins it claimed their division championship. A big thank you to all the parents for their support through out the year.

The Rams played host to BCH 1 for game 2 of the championship series. You could tell as soon as you walked into the dressing room the boys came ready to play. The Rams started strong and built a 1st period 3-0 lead. They built on the lead with 2 second period goals. Going into the 3rd period the Rams laid back a little and BCH soon scored 2 quick goals. With the Championship in sight the Rams closed out the game with out further damage. Final 5-2. The Rams travelled to Clinton to take on the BCH 1 team Monday night. Although the team was out played n the 1st period they were able to capitalize on a couple of plays to take a 2-0 lead. The second period was a close checking affair the Rams managed to score the only goal of the period. Leading 3-0 going into the 3rd period the players were reminded that twice over the weekend they had squandered 2 goal leads in the last period at the Young Canada tournament in Goderich. Friday afternoon found the Rams in Goderich to take part in the 66th Annual Young Canada week sponsored by the Lions Club. Game 1 the opponent was the Blyth-Brussels squad and the Rams jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead. The lead held up until the 3rd period when the opposition scored 2 late goals to knot the score 2-2 final. Sat morning the Dorchester team was our opponent. Almost a duplicate game as the first. The Rams carried a 3-1 lead into the 3rd only to see it evaporate like the previous game Final score 3-3.
