Weekend Sweep
The Rams completed the weekend sweep with a 1-0 shutout on home ice. Girls played an excellent game against a very strong Walkerton team. A win is always nice, especially when you knock off a former rep team. Evelyn was the games only goal scorer. She made and excellent end to end rush and finished with a bar down shot over the goalies blocker arm. The entire team played great in front of Sandra who turned away all 19 shots to earn the shutout.
The Rams now have great momentum going into their second tournament of the year this weekend in New Hamburg. If the girls play like they did this weekend, they will have a great chance to earn a spot in the championship rounds this Sunday. Great job girls. LET'S GO RAMS!!!!
