Rams back in win column

The home-ice Mount Forest Rams got back on track with a 7-0 decision over the Walkerton Capitals in Friday's WOAA bantam girls C action.
The hosts held a 3-0 after one period and led 5-0 after two.
Rams assistant captain Hailey H. led the scoring parade with a hat trick and an assist. Chloe R. chipped in with a pair of goals.
Mount Forest's mighty mite Charlotte T. notched five assists in the contest while captain Haven L. scored once and added an assist.
Fellow Ram Kansas L. scored the first goal of her Mount Forest minor hockey career on a smoking blast from the middle of the circle, far side.
Alyssa V. handled nine shots in her 19th shutout of the season as the Rams snapped their two-game losing streak.
"That was a nice bounce-back game for us," said Rams coach Bill W. "We moved the puck well. We made good tape-to-tape passes. We did all the little things well that we've been missing of late.
"We need to bring that same attention to detail and energy with us into Sunday's game with South Bruce because we know they will be coming at us hard."
Sunday's contest is a 4:30 p.m. start in Mildmay.
