Rams 2-0 on opening day of Silver Stick
TIVERTON - The Mount Forest Rams bantam C were a perfect 2-0 on the opening day of the Saugeen Shores Silver Stick tournament on Friday.

Defenceman Kansas L. scored on an end-to-end rush in a 1-0 victory over the Chatsworth Township Rebels in the opener.
Alyssa V. had the shutout, her 21st of the season.
Haven L. opened the scoring in a 2-1 win over the Lambeth Lancers later that day.
Jayde M. had the game winner with a bullet from the point.
"We shook the rust off with only a couple lapses," assistant coach Christine R. said.
"We wanted to go 2-0 on the opening day and assure ourselves a semifinal berth and we got that job done. And we know we've got another gear so we will only get stronger as the weekend goes on."
The Rams wrap up the round robin with a 1:50 p.m. date in Port Elgin with the Walkerton Capitals on Saturday.
And the semifinals are slated for 6 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. in Tiverton, depending on whether the Rams finish second or first in their pool.
