Head to Head with Lucknow
The Rams traveled to Lucknow Wednesday night for a tight game.
The first period was scoreless as the two evenly matched teams battled back and forth.
In the second period Acheson passed to Sylvestre and from the red line passed up to Reaman waiting at the blue line and a rushing Sylvestre made it in front of the net to receive the pass to open the scoring of the game.
Kieffer was solo on defence when Lucknow had a 3-1 advantage gaining on him, but a perfectly timed poke check destroyed Lucknows chance.
Lewis, Hodgins and Weber with their great passing and scoring abilities were not able to weave their magic this game as they normally can as Lucknows forwards were constantly on them.
Warren Zeinstra took a well deserved penality as he cleared out a Lucknow forward in front of the net.
Kyle Dallaire had great stick handling between the blue lines as he worked hard to dump the puck in their end to line mates Coburn and Elliott.
Lucknow came back shorthanded and scored their only goal of the game.

The last two minutes of the game was a nail bitter as fans and coaches alike were on the edge of their seats to hang on to the win. Kroes was a brick wall in net as the Rams were outshot 30-18. The bounces and tips that normally work in favor of the Rams were just not on their side for this game. Lucknows defence were rock solid not allowing the Rams many scoring opportunities to break away.
