Two Down One To Go
Game #2 of the Rams and the Falcons was an adrenaline pulsing game.  Hanover was determined to tie the series and the Rams wanted to claim a win at home.

The Falcons came on strong and it looked like they were going to dominate the game.  Four minutes into the first period the Rams scored but the goal was waved off as coaches, players and fans stood in disbelief.  Hanover took advantage of the frustrated Rams and although Noah Kroes had already made numerous saves at 2:14 in the first the Falcons forward hit the crossbar and the puck fell down in behind Kroes.  It was a duplicate play of the goal that the Rams had just scored but the Falcons goal went up on the board.
The second period the Rams came out hungry for a goal wanting to tie the game.  They had many chances.  Seven seconds into the period Hunter Elliott had a shot but was denied.  Jordan Reaman, Derick Acheson, and Alex Kieffer were consistent with many shots to get the rubber past the Falcons goalie but were unable to cash in.  After a scoreless second period the third period was full of action.  Kroes started off robbing the Falcons of their breakaway.  Tristan Sylvestre, Dylan Reeves, and Kyle Dallaire rose to the occassion and were faithful in clearing the puck out of the Rams end.  Jake Mulder and Brady Coburn had great backchecking and on the boards play helping the Rams with more chances.  Jake Zeinstra shot the puck in from the blue line but the puck was stopped by the traffic in front of the net.  The Falcons defence shot the puck to clear it out of their zone but Warren Zeinstra from the blue line one timed it in.  With Zeinstra's goal it was a brand new game.  The game was tied at one and both teams were determined to get the next goal.  Both teams had great opportunities but it was with 4:25 left in the game when the Falcons shot and Kroes with the drop stopped the puck under his pad.  The goal counted after a falling Falcon pushed Kroes and the puck into the net.  Nine seconds later Troy Weber scores for the Rams with assists going to Cole Hodgins and Blake Lewis.  Again tied and the clock winding down both teams were giving all they had to claim the win.  The third period buzzer sounded and the two teams were placed into Over Time.
After getting the talk from the bench the Rams wasted no time.  35 seconds into O.T. Cole Hodgins had a shot on the net but was stopped by the goalie but Troy Weber cashing in one of his biggest career goals popped in the rebound to give the Rams a 3-2 win and 2 games under their belt in the series.
