Clean Sweep
Game #3 of the Rams and the Falcons was the most intense game of the series so far.

The first period was a cheering competition in the stands as both teams had their fans cheering them on.  It was a full throttle game for both teams as both were wanting a win. Noah Kroes was on his game as he held off attacks from the hungry Falcons.  Jordan Reaman, Derick Acheson and Alex Kieffer executed a firing of shots at the Falcons netminder but the goaltender held them off.
Just under the six minute mark Hanover fired a missile in the top corner past Kroes.  Duplicating game #2 the Falcons took the lead. The Rams continued to attack and with the final minute of play in the first Tristan Sylvestre walked into the Falcons end and fired a shot but he to was shut down.
The second period Troy Weber, Cole Hodgins and Blake Lewis were the Falcons worst nightmare as they were constantly in the netminders face.  At 5:43 and with a standing ovation, Jake Mulder beat the Falcons cager through the 5 hole with assists going to Hunter Elliott and Brady Coburn.
With 3 seconds left in the second frame the Rams took a tough penalty of too many men on the ice during a line change.  The Rams fought the penalty off with great defense action from Jake and Warren Zeinstra and Kyle Dallaire.  Dylan Reeves thrilled the crowd with his shot from the blue line that beat the Falcons netminder putting the Rams on the board at the eleven minute mark.
Up 2-1 the Rams were wanting an insurance goal but the Falcons defense dominated their end.  At a minute and a half  in the third the Falcons called a time out pulling their goalie and adding an extra attacker.  Playing defensive hockey the Rams were able to hold them off.  At thirty five seconds left Mount Forest called a time out.   The Rams had trouble clearing the puck out of their end and with some missed passes at 3.7 seconds left in the game the Falcons persistance paid off tying the game at 2.  Again the two teams were headed into overtime.  It only took eight seconds as Jordan Reaman took the puck from the moment it hit the ice and with a beautiful pass to Acheson who lifted the puck in the top shelf for the winning goal.   The boys took the series 3 games straight and are now awaiting their next series.
