Busy Weekend for Atom Rep Rams
The Atom Rep Rams hosted the Wingham Ironmen on Saturday.  It was the second meeting of the two teams with the Rams winning the first game 4-3.


The boys were pumped and ready to play.  Forty-three seconds into the first period Troy Weber lifted the puck high into the mesh on the Wingham goalie.  Wingham wanted a goal and the two teams battled back and forth with great opportunities on both sides.  Tristan Sylvestre, Jake Zeinstra, Kyle Dallaire and Dylan Reeves played strong on defense frustrating the Ironmens many chances.
With thirty-nine seconds into the second frame Jordan Reaman set up Derick Acheson in front of the net to cash in the Rams second goal.  The Ironmen took advantage of the Rams being shorthanded and scored their first goal.
Jordan Reaman scored after receiving a perfect pass from Blake Lewis.  Reaman had another shot on the net and Lewis scored on the rebound. 
The last minute in the second period goaltender Kroes had a firing squad of shots and with 16.4 seconds left Wingham slid one in the corner.
The third period only one goal was scored by Cole Hodgins with assists going to Troy Weber and Blake Lewis.  The Ironmen continued to put pressure on the Rams but the Rams kept them at bay with a 5-2 win.

The next day the Rams hosted the Arthur Vipers.  Two minutes into the first period Arthur opened up the scoring of the game.  A minute later Blake Lewis got back the goal with the assist going to Troy Weber.
The two teams were back and forth both wanting the next goal, but it was Lewis with nine seconds left in the second to get the next goal with the assist going to Cole Hodgins. 
The third period of the game was certainly the most exciting with lots of shots by both teams.  Hunter Elliott lifted the Rams to three with an assist to Brady Coburn.  With a 3-1 lead the Vipers attacked the Rams end and scored their second goal and ten seconds later scored their third tying the game at three. It was crunch time and with three minutes left in the game Lewis scores to give the Rams the lead.  Six seconds later Jake Mulder scores the final goal of the game wrapping up the game 5-3 for the Rams.
