The weather stops one of two roads trips on the weekend.
Last Weekend the Rams had to Cancel a game due to weather on Saturday vrs Georgian Shores, but were able to make the trip to Lucknow on Sunday.
After missing their game on Saturday the Girls were excited to play on Sunday in Lucknow.
In the first period it was Lucknow that would start the scoring. Although there were many chances for the Rams the Lucknow Goalie didn't give anything up in the first period and the Rams would start the second period down by one.
In the second period the Rams continued to pressure and it was Hanna Gerrie that would get the Rams on the scoreboard assisted by Taylor Mclellan and Taryn North. Still in the second period the Rams would strike again and Aalia Gade would put the Rams ahead by one, assisted by Morgan Flanagan. Although it didn't take long for the Lucknow girls to respond and with 2 minutes left in the period the Lucknow Girls would tie this game up.
In the third period the Rams were tested again when they had to kill off a 4 minute double minor. During this penalty kill the Rams were hit again for another penalty and they would have to kill off a 5 on 3 against a pressing Lucknow team. Although the Rams were not able to get on the scoreboard again in the third. The Rams Defense did not allow Lucknow to score on any of their powerplay attempts. The Girls played shorthanded for 7 minutes of the third period and still managed to end this game in a tie. This was a great effort from the defense and some great goaltending! Another impressive game girls, keep up the hard work!!
