Exciting Game in Keady vrs TCDMHA Rebels!!!
The last time these two teams played it was Oct 19th and it was the first regular season game for each team. The Rams won this very tough game 3-2 and this game was packed with action from the drop of the puck!
The TCDMHA Rebels starting the scoring just 54 seconds into the game and got their home crowd into the game. Kyla Pacheco would give the Rams fans something to cheer for just 39 seconds later with a great individual effort and the game was tied. Still in the first, the Rebels would strike again and #46 got her second goal of the game. Once again the Rams would answer back and Hanna Gerrie assisted by Kyla Pacheco and Taryn North, would tie the game again.
In the second period it was the Rams that would break the tie and Taylor Mclellan got on the score sheet. Although the Rebels would not let the Rams take the lead into the 3rd period and #46 struck again for the Hat-Trick with only 1:28 seconds left of the second period, and this game was all tied up again.
Into the third period and the fans were loving this back and forth action from both teams. It was the Rams that once again would break the tie with a nice shot from the blue line from Hanna Gerrie assisted by Taylor Mclellan. Shortly after taking the lead the Rams had to kill off a penalty. The defense of the Rams did a amazing job to keep the Rebels from getting that tying goal. It was the Rams that would not stop the pressure and with the Rebels goalie out of position and a player grabbing the loose puck in the crease the Rams were awarded a penalty shot. Hanna Gerrie would find the back of the net on this penalty shot putting the Rams up by two and getting a Hat-Trick on the Game. This game was not over and the Rebels kept coming and with less than 2 minutes left another penalty to the Rams. In the process of killing off this penalty the Rams got hit again with another penalty. The Rams had to kill off the 5 on 3 as well as the Rebels would pull their goalie to try and get back in this game. Again #46 of the Rebels would bring her team one step closer when she scored with just 26 seconds left in the game. The Rams would play short handed the rest of the game and take the Win on the road against a tough TCDMHA team. Great Game Girls!!!! Keep it up!!!
