Orangeville Sweetheart Tournament
By Mark Carson. The Rams have advanced to the playoff rounds on Sunday. The girls are sitting in 4th place in pool A after the preliminary games. The Rams will play the Orangeville Tigers Montgomery Village in the 1 vs 4 game at the Alder Recreation Centre on Sunday morning. The Rams played this team in the 1st game of the tournament at Teen Ranch and it ended in 1-1 tie. Ariana scored the only goal for the Rams and Chloe got the assist. The Rams second game was against the Orangeville Tigers Fireballs at the Alder Recreation Centre. The Rams won 1-0 and extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games. Stacy was the lone goal scorer in the game. This was her first ever minor hockey goal. Congratulations Stacy! In the win Sandra recorded her 13th shutout of the season.

After the second game the girls had qualified for the playoff rounds. Although coach Walker didn't tell the girls this. It ended up being a good thing the Rams had already qualified because the 3rd game of the tournament was against the Caledon Ken Lawnmowers. The game was at the Tony Rose Arena and it was probably the Rams worst game of the season. The Rams lost 3-0. The girls have already put this game behind them and are chomping at the bit to get back on the ice and looking for redemption. Most of the time it is good thing to finish 1st but if the Orangeville Tigers team only knew the character of these Rams, they would prefer play somebody else. So Orangeville you better get ready because you saw this team lose 3-0 but you are about to find out like everybody else has , just how good this Rams team really is. LETS GO RAMS!!
