Rams Shutout - A Work of Art
Da Vinci invented it, Picasso painted it, Michelangelo sculpted it, the Rams won it. Tonight's 3-0 win against Walkerton Capitals was a work of art.
An overall blend of fine defence, veracious offence and the Great Wall of Leask provided the U-15 with yet another shutout in their season.
Goalie #30 Pryce L. bridged the vast gap between the pipes tonight to keep any Capital intruders from a goal. Defence lines not only provided minimal space for the Caps to shoot in, but took rushes and shots from the blue line to get in on the offensive plays.
First period power-play action saw Centreman #16 Madden B. assist on Winger #4 Ben Troyer's opening, game-winning goal.
The second period had one goal in store for the Rams as Centreman #88 Owen R. and line mate #21 Mason L. played teamwork to a "T" assisting on a goal by Winger #6 Roewn O.
The Rams didn't budge an inch during the third period as opportunity kept knocking when #18 Troy A. scored the final goal, unassisted on another power-play.
Hard-work and team spirit made this hockey game a beautiful piece of art. Good job gentlemen!
