Consolation Champs
Mount Forest Rams bring home the bronze medal in the MMHU-15LL Tournament.

The Rams played three games today in Palmerston, battling to come back from a first game loss, stay alive and win the Consolation Championship Bronze Medal.
The gentlemen faced the Saugeen Shores Storm in their morning game. Goalie #30 Pryce L., stood in net for the Rams and held the Storm to only one goal in the first two periods. The battle was too much for the Rams as they gave up three goals in the third period and were shutout 4-0.
The second game presented a must-win situation as they faced the Blythe-Brussels Crusaders. The tables turned in favour for the Rams as they shutout the Crusaders 1-0. Goalie #1 Silas S. recorded the win. The game was evenly matched, and #16 Madden B. scored the game winning goal unassisted.
In the final game, the Rams faced off against the Walkerton Capitals. With a medal on the line, the Rams did not disappoint fans as they provided offensive action worth cheering about.
#21 Mason L. opened the scoring with a first period goal assisted by #6 Roewn O. #15 Nolan D. kept the flood gates open with an unassisted sniper of a goal.
The second period held only penalties for the Rams but goalie #30 Pryce L. and the defence squads were able to hold the Capitals at bay.
To seal the win, the Rams scored three more goals in the third period. Two minutes in, #13 Brennan B. and #14 Griffin Y. assisted on centreman #16 Madden B.'s goal. Walkerton was able to score one on the powerplay. The Rams responded with #15 Griffin Y. sending #16 Madden B. a sweet pass and the centreman found the back of the net for his second of the game.#18 Troy A. said goodnight to the Capitals with a goal at 3:32.
The Rams showed true sportsmanship in the tournament, battling hard, staying focused on teamwork and winning. Special mention to our players of the games, #6 Roewn Oakes, #1 Silas S. and #30 Pryce L.
